Visiting the winemaker

"Visiting" – in the Palatinate, this means more than just a visit. It represents being welcomed, hospitality, and genuine interest in the other person. The "Visiting the Winemaker" program, initiated and hosted by a Palatinate cultural and wine ambassador, brings this experience to life. As part of this series, the event will also be stopping at our winery. Together, we'll experience wine where it originates: in the vineyard, in the cellar, and through personal interaction. The focus is on direct dialogue – about grape varieties, our methods, the challenges of the vintage, and the unique style that shapes our wines. The wine tasting is interwoven with stories, background information, and regional culture – clearly explained and moderated by the wine ambassador. This creates an evening that goes far beyond a traditional wine tasting: honest, relaxed, and intimate. Who is this for? For everyone who wants to experience Palatinate wine authentically and learn more about the people behind the wines. Tip: Ideally combined with a walk through the vineyards or a relaxing meal in Forster's restaurants.
