Spring begins in Forst every year with the blossoming of the Jesuit almond tree. For over 50 years, this distinctive tree has stood at the edge of the Forst Jesuit Garden, one of the first to herald the changing of the seasons. For the first time, we have dedicated a wine to this special moment. The Riesling “Jesuitenmandel” comes from the Forst Jesuit Garden, one of the great vineyard sites of the Mittelhardt region. The specially designed label is reminiscent of the Jesuit almond tree and visibly connects the wine to this place and its history. Thus, a natural symbol of spring becomes a wine that captures this moment. The “Jesuitenmandel” embodies freshness, clarity, and the typical style of our Rieslings: precise fruit, vibrant structure, and a long, harmonious finish. A wine that not only represents a vineyard, but a moment. Now available at the winery and in Forst.
