Size: 9.8 hectares
Below the statue "Stone Eve" is the site Langenmorgen, only 7 hectares in size, with strikingly long parcels. It is enclosed by the site Paradiesgarten in a semicircle. The "Morgen" refers to a field measurement that a person with a team can plow in one acre. The site was first mentioned in a document as early as 1491.
The Langenmorgen is a southeastern slope, which is favored by the optimal sunlight and thus produces high must weights. The soil composition is characterized by sandy loams, red and white red sandstone weathered soils and sandstone rubble. In the Langenmorgen there are very strong loess deposits. Thus, the vine has a particularly fertile, water- and nutrient-rich soil for development. High lime content in the loess loam gives these wines a distinctive style with its own mineral flavor.
