Size: 7 hectares
Jesuitengarten takes its name from several Jesuit monasteries that used to own these vineyards.
According to the Bavarian soil classification of 1828, the Jesuitengarten is, after the Kirchenstück, the second highest rated vineyard site in the Palatinate. At an altitude of 120 to 150 meters above sea level, the eastern slope in the Jesuitengarten causes an exceptionally high heating of the volcanic basalt rock. The dense layers of clay and sand ensure an optimal water balance and the absorption of minerals. The wines from the Jesuitengarten are characterized by their extraordinary interplay of fruit and minerality.
All products are German products from the Palatinate growing region. They contain sulphites.
