Vineyard: Ruppertsberger Hoheburg
Hoheburg Castle is located west of Ruppertsberg on a small plateau at the edge of the village. It lies between the highly rated sites Gaisböhl and Reiterpfad. The name refers to the former moated castle of the Knights of Rupprechtsburg, which had already been destroyed in the 14th century. We find here a sandy loam soil with fine limestone components.
